Future Focus 2024/25
It’s the dawn of the new calendar year. The new year is a time to write new chapters in our lives, a time for a fresh start and a time to make use of new opportunities.
As we reflect on the just concluded first quarter of 2024/25 Future Focus Optimist year, let us forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future. We have Six Thought Five Hundred and Fifty Two (6552) hours to create these achievements; let us use those hours wisely.
In this new calendar year 2025, and in the three quarters remaining in the Optimist year, may we all have a renewed focus for service. The kind of service that sets the Optimist International Caribbean District apart.
Let us individually and collectively seek to leave a footprint in the sands of Optimism. Our flagship programme, Literacy Continues “Let’s Read and Write Together” is an avenue for such a footprint.
To a fresh start, renewed hope, new beginnings and loads of opportunities. Let us all join hands and hearts in making 2025 a memorable year.
